Sampan’s specialised tours are led by experts in their fields and cater to those with niche, specialist interests.

They are not like normal group tours. We keep the size of the group small (usually no more than ten) so to ensure the journey remains intimate and hands-on. These are group tours for people who “don’t do” group tours. No minibuses nor coaches, no flags nor guides with microphones. These tours take place on an ad hoc basis. In each iteration of these tours, the itinerary changes so to keep things fresh. Guest speakers and events that feature as part of the itinerary will differ from year to year.
